Before you buy: Take the free trial
Murmur comes with a 7-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card needed for the Direct Download version. This gives you plenty of time to make sure it's right for you before you spend anything.
14-day money-back guarantee
If you're not happy with Murmur after you buy it, you can request a full refund within 14 days from the date of purchase.
After 14 days have passed, refunds are no longer available. We encourage you to use the free trial and take time before purchasing to ensure the app meets your needs.
How to request a refund
Direct Download version
If you purchased Murmur directly from our website via Dodo Payments:
- Email murmur@nihil.codes with your receipt or order details
- Include the email address associated with your purchase
- We'll process your refund within 5–7 business days back to your original payment method
App Store version
If you purchased Murmur through the App Store, refunds are handled by Apple, not by us.
Follow Apple's refund process to request a refund for your app purchase.
After your refund
- Your license will be deactivated
- You'll no longer be able to use Murmur
- Your transcription history stays on your Mac (it's local) but you won't be able to record new transcriptions
